Audrey Harris Vision

The Foundation is committed to continuing the work of the Audrey Harris Vision after managing its operations from 2019-2024. It is a nonprofit organization with one mission: to further the education of neonatal nurses. Audrey Harris, in whose memory the organization is named, was dedicated to the continuing education of neonatal nurses and had a strong interest in improving care for neonatal patients. During our partnership, we have carried out this mission by:

  • Supporting individual nurses through NCC certification reviews for C-ELBW and RNC-NIC.

  • Funding Small Baby Collaborative for University of Medical Sciences through Synapse Care Solutions.

  • Establishing a small baby team by providing the small baby course at Willow Creek Women's Hospital, Johnson, AR

  • Providing Speech Therapy in-service for Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO

  • Hosting Review Courses for RNC-NIC

  • Providing NICU Neuro Care in-service

  • Providing NAS in-service

  • Providing Scholarships for Neonatal Nurses to attend national conferences.
